About Prof. Rossella Nappi

Prof. Nappi is Full Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Chief of the Research Center for Reproductive Medicine, and Director of the Gynecological Endocrinology & Menopause Unit at the IRCCS San Matteo Foundation, University of Pavia. She is a gynecologist, endocrinologist, and sexologist. Her major interests are in the field of psychoneuroendocrinology of female reproductive and postreproductive life, with a special focus on women’s sexual health. She has published approximately 500 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals and international books, with roughly 25,000 citations (HF Google Scholar 89).

Prof. Nappi is a well-known speaker on women’s health from adolescence to menopause. She is very active in many international meetings and research projects in the field of contraception, menopause, and female sexual dysfunction.

She is a past President of the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health. At present, she is a permanent member of the advisory board of the International Society of Gynecological Endocrinology and of The International Academy of Human Reproduction, and President of the International Menopause Society.
